First off, we’d like to say something that you’ll get tired of hearing very quickly: Congratulations on becoming a potential GDub student! GW Intervarsity is extremely excited about what a new year and new students would bring to our community and environment.
This is basically a post on how to get more personal information about IV, so here goes:
We would love to answer any questions you have about churches, IV, or GDubs in general. So, click on our Contact Us tab, somewhere up……………………………..there↑, and feel free to contact our student leadership team or our own personal IV staff, Bethany! Also, if you want to come out and meet an IV student for coffee/lunch, we’d love to make that happen too!
We have a few exciting events coming up, and as this is April Visit Month, we would love for you to drop on by if you happen to be in town, and this will also update you about what we’ve been up to lately:
Daily Prayer Meetings: We are currently meeting in Kogan Plaza in front of the clock tower or, in case of spring rain, the Marvin Center (near the glass tables in the lobby) @12 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and @2 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Come join us for a short time of fellowship and coming together to seek God everyday!
The Well- our weekly large group meeting on Thursday nights @8. This is a great time of fellowship and worship with the entire IV. If you happen to be around, we’d love for you to stop by! Our meeting room is in Marvin, and is usually 309 or 310. We will update the exact room number ASAP. Our last Well will be on the 28th.
Easter service- this is a new event for us and is something we’re extremely excited about. On Easter Sunday, we will be having a service outdoors from 3-4 in Veteran’s Park, which is right on the intersection of 22nd and G. We will be joined by a YWAM team, and this would be a great time to experience what IV is about and to get to know us better. We will have an information table out, so don’t hesitate to come right up to us to find out what IV does and how you can get plugged in!
