March for Life: Saturday, January 23 @ 10:30 in Marvin Center Great Hall.

  • Get a free breakfast before heading to the National Mall @ 11:00 am. This is an annual event in D.C. to support the pro-life cause, and it gets bigger every year. Be a voice for LIFE!

New Student Event Schedule

We are always excited to meet new people at GW. To help new students connect with InterVarsity, we will be holding several events over the next few weeks. These events are open to any and everyone regardless of their faith background! Feel free to contact the point person for more information! Hope to see each of you soon!

Every Sunday for September – Find A Church
Meet at the Gelman Starbucks @9 AM and  @4PM to learn about great local churches around GW and DC!

September 1 – Seek & Find
Meet in Kogan plaza at 8 pm to form into groups and go on a Seek and Find through campus. Bring digital cameras if you have them! We will then meet up again at 9:30 in Columbia Plaza (the table area near J st inside the Marvin Center) for root beer floats to end the night on a delicious note!

September 4 – Midnight IHOP Run
What could be better than late night pancakes with fun people in an awesome city? Meet at the Foggy Bottom Metro at 10:30pm. Bring money for food as well as $5 extra in case we have to take cabs back to campus.
AND! As an added bonus!….We will be needing to stay awake to enjoy our pancakes, so if you are so interested, we will be doing a bit of coffee and tea “pre-gaming” if you will, in the basement of Guthridge. There promises to be a plethora of coffee, tea, and different toppings/mixings. Meet in the basement at 9:30 if you are interested!

September 6 – National Symphony Orchestra @ Capitol Building
We will meet at the metro at 6 so that we can get there early to get good seats. Bring blankets to sit on and fun (and portable!) board/card games that we can play while we wait for the concert to start.
